In the course of our coverage for the World Knowledge Dialogue (WKD), we included a live webcast with celebrated entomologist EO Wilson and interviewed Gerald Edelman, a very interesting fellow who also won the Nobel Prize in biology. The Symposium 2006 is an institutional initiative to bridge the gap between the natural and the human/social sciences starting from new, revolutionary discoveries with potential impact at the scale of paradigmatic changes. The Online News for the World Knowledge Dialogue is based on Conference Reports, a cross-sector partnership between MCART and ICVolunteers started in 2000 that directly involves volunteers in carrying results around the world. Working with our Partners CERN Multimedia Team for webcast coverage included four cameras, venue production, and television-style interviews.
